If all goes as planned we will have the 2016 Pleasant Valley Community Calendars for sale at Pleasant Valley Days July 17, 18, and 19th. We featured our Pleasant Valley WWII Veterans as well as those who lived in the valley at that time. Saturday we will have a booth set up and Cappy Joy Ridenhour and possibly the other two vets will be there to sign your calendar.
Mutt Breeden is 100 years old this year he was shot down during operation Omaha Beach at Normandy, rescuing his crew in a life boat.
John Seeley joined the Navy at 17 years old and had a near miss when heading to Calcutta two torpedoes pass by 150 yards from John.
Stop by and show your respect to our living WWII vets. Calendars are $12 visiting with our Vets priceless.
