PHOENIX – Hunters may now submit draw applications online for Arizona 2014 fall deer, turkey, javelina, bighorn sheep, buffalo and pheasant hunts. To apply online, go to https://az.gov/app/huntdraw/home.xhtml and scroll down to the “Apply for a Draw” link.
The deadline by which the department must receive all applications is 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 10. It is the responsibility of each applicant to be sure their applications are submitted and received by the department by the deadline – 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 10. Don’t delay. Log on and apply early.
APPLY EARLY: Steer clear of problems that may occur as a result of a high volume of last-minute application submissions. Exceptionally heavy use of the online application system can cause the website to slow down or become temporarily unavailable. Technical problems can also occur and prevent hunters from completing online applications by the deadline.
Draw applications may also be submitted by mail and in person.
BY MAIL: Draw applications may be mailed, but the applications must be received by Game and Fish on or before the deadline at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 10. Postmarks don’t matter – it’s the date and time applications are received by Game and Fish. Mailed applications should be sent to Arizona Game and Fish Department, Attn. Drawing Section, PO Box 74020, Phoenix, AZ 85087-1052.
IN PERSON: Drop off applications at any of the seven Game and Fish offices statewide. Offices are located in Pinetop, Flagstaff, Kingman, Yuma, Tucson, Mesa and Phoenix. Visit www.azgfd.gov/offices for office addresses and directions.
IMPORTANT DEADLINE INFORMATION: Department office locations statewide will be open until 7 p.m. on June 10 to receive dropped-off applications. However, front counter customer service for regular business transactions, including the sale of fishing and hunting licenses, will close at the regular time, 5 p.m.
